The swede, rutabaga, or neep is a root vegetable that originated as a cross between the cabbage and the turnip.
It is also sometimes called a turnip. It has a similar flavor and texture to radishes.
Their bone-white flesh is firm, crunchy succulent, earthy-sweet and peppery.
