Lamb Rack - Australia
Also Known As: Lamb Chops, Lamb Cutlets
Home Delivery Pricing: See 'Weekly Fresh Offerings' for chilled availability & price.
Product Description:
Lamb Rack is the one of the best cuts of lamb. It can come 'Frenched' meaning the rib bones are scraped bare of flesh - almost to the eye of the meat. They can also come 'Chined' meaning the backbone has been cleanly removed.

Lamb racks can be easily cut - separating the ribs to give individual lamb chops. Meat from the lamb rack is tender and only needs brief cooking. Best served rare or medium rare.
Storage, Handling & Defrosting Recommendations:
Chilled:
Keep well chilled - As close to 0°C as possible.
Frozen:
Store at - 18°C. Ideally lamb should be packed in a vacuum bag with the seal intact. Alternatively the meat can be well wrapped in cling film and kept in a Zip-lock bag to avoid dehydration and freezer burn.
